Standing in the hallway

You showed me your back
and your hair
and I just couldn't
stop the beating of my heart.

You showed me your smile
and your voice,
and I couldn't do otherwise
but fall in love.

I gave you my soul,
but you said no.
I gave you all,
but you said no.

What's left in this world?
If not to be loved,
what's the next step in the way?
if not die, then run away.

It is impossible for me though,
because I can't live without you,
because my life is nothing
if you don't love me.

This is just the origin
of the end.
For your endless rejection
I blame myself.

You won't feel me leaving,
it will be as if I didn't exist,
and you won't realize
that once I was by your side.

Not even a goodbye,
or a wink tonight;
just avoiding,
so you will say nothing.

Even a word
could stop me going,
but you stay silent,
staring while standing.

I decided not to lose myself,
wasting my time on someone
who does not care
of what's around her.

En un rincón del museo

No sé si es tu sonrisa
la que me hace volar
o son tus ojos
los que no me dejan pensar
en otra cosa que no sea
tu mirada profunda,
tu marca personal.

La luz del sol
ilumina la curvatura de tus labios
y tus ojos entornados,
encendidos por un pensamiento,
transmiten un mar de sentimientos.

Y aunque tú me miras
yo no veo en ese rostro
la magia de Cupido
que impunemente me ha herido.
Ese tirano tiene en su puño
mi corazón aplastado,
el que había perdido.

Me hizo creer
que de amor
yo podía vivir,
que todo sería mejor
estando tú aquí.

Si mil vidas
yo tuviera para dedicarte,
ninguna valdría
tanto como la que dejo
por este amor incierto
en un rincón del museo
perdido en el tiempo.

No sé si hay otro fin posible,
para esta tragedia que me envuelve
en un paño de lágrimas
antes de despedirme.
Ojalá, yo pudiera decirte.

Ours

The sky is falling down on me
I don't care
what the sphere-shaped planet means,
nor what they say.

It's just like fire
the way I feel,
when I meet your eyes,
it is my heart what you steal.

I don't want to sleep,
because I would have to dream
about this little world
where you don't know me.

I would take you in my arms
and towards a shelter we would run,
there, under the dome
before they detonate the bomb.

Please do not walk away
do not turn your back on me.
There will be a day
when the world will be only...
ours.

Poor quality, hasty written, terribly structured poem. But something, though.
